This page explains how to request deletion of your Mehrab Quran (محراب القرآن) account — published by Ahmed Hany Abdelhamid Mohamed — and its associated personal data. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the Mehrab Quran app → Home → Contact Us → Delete Account, then confirm by typing the keyword shown on screen. Your personal data is removed as soon as you confirm, and permanently erased from all our systems within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@mehrab-alquran.com from the same email address registered to your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line. We verify ownership of the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove: your profile (name, email, phone number, profile photo), learning history, ratings, favorites, notifications, sessions, and authentication tokens, and we revoke any third-party sign-in link (Google/Apple). Any remaining voice recordings are removed at the next 7-day cleanup cycle, so they may persist with our cloud storage provider for up to 7 days after deletion.

What is kept, and for how long

We may retain limited records required by law (such as financial transactions and fraud prevention) for up to 7 years. Diagnostic and crash logs expire within 90 days, and phone-verification and security-event logs within 12 months. We may also retain aggregated, anonymized analytics that no longer identify you.

How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate; full erasure across all systems and backups is completed within 30 days.
