Our mission
Mehrab Quran is a remote platform dedicated to teaching the Holy Quran and Tajweed, connecting students everywhere with teachers who hold an Ijaza with a connected sanad to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We believe the greatest service a hafiz of the Book of Allah can render is passing it on to others, pure and correct as it was received.
Every teacher on our team volunteers for the sake of Allah and receives no compensation of any kind. Our purpose is the reward from Allah and the spreading of beneficial knowledge — so that every student, wherever and whenever they are, can have a share of the light of this great Book.
Volunteer Requirements
Standards for joining the Mehrab Quran teaching team
- 1
Ijaza with a connected sanad
You must hold a recognized Ijaza in the Holy Quran with a connected sanad to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, at minimum in the riwayah of Hafs from ʿAsim.
- 2
Pass the comprehensive examination
Every applicant is examined by the Mehrab committee on memorization, recitation, Tajweed rulings, and the mutashabihat of the Holy Quran before acceptance.
- 3
Commit to a fixed availability schedule
You define the hours you will be available on the app to receive students and commit to them — so we maintain discipline and continuity for learners.
- 4
Work is fully unpaid
Volunteers receive no compensation of any kind. Our shared goal is reward from Allah and spreading beneficial knowledge.
